Become an ALSO Officer!
ALSO is looking for nominations and volunteers to run for available positions of Junior Executive Officer's in our upcoming elections.
Please feel free to nominate yourself or a fellow SLIS student who you think has promising leadership potential and has interest in the field of academic librarianship. Nominations close Friday, February 12th at 5pm. Nominated candidates will then be notified and elections will be held the week of February 15th, 2010.
Junior Executive Officers will spend the Spring learning how to lead ALSO from the current ALSO Executive Officers and assume the positions of Co-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer for the 2010-11 academic year in May 2010, after the current officers graduate.
