2010 SLIS Class Gift Fundraiser

Thanks for everyone's participation in the survey to determine the 2010 SLIS Class gift. With 44% of the vote, the Conference scholarship wins as the choice for the class gift. This will be given to future SLIS students. Almost everyone indicated that they would like to see any leftover money go to ALA's Haiti Library Relief fund.

Starting April 5th, we will start a fundraising campaign to make this class gift a reality- to thanks UW SLIS for everything. A gift of any size is gratefully accepted. To contribute, obtain an envelope either from your mailbox (if you are graduating in May) or from the SLIS library. Put your cash or check gift in the envelope. Please indicate in the envelope how much you want to go to the conference scholarship or to the Haiti Library Relief fund. Make checks payable to ALA-SC. Drop envelopes with your gift in SLIS mailbox #199 (ALA-SC) or mail it to SLIS Class Gift c/o ALA-SC, 600 N. Park Street #4217, Madison, WI 53706 no later than Friday April 23rd.
