Thank you to all ALSO members who submitted nominations for the positions of Chair and Vice-Chair for the next academic school year. While several good candidates were nominated, only continuing SLIS students are eligible for executive positions, and so those who graduated were obliged to decline the nomination.
Of the continuing SLIS students who were nominated, the only two who accepted the nominations were Amanda Kramer and Jessica Gile, the current Co-Chairs. Rather than cluttering up your email inboxes with pointless surveys and emails, we have decided to just accept the positions and plan to continue on as Co-Chairs of ALSO for another year.
Thank you for your help, support, and input. We look forward to working with all of you in the coming school year!
