WAAL 2010 Conference Session Proposals




The WAAL Conference Planning Committee invites proposals for 60-minute breakout sessions for:
WAAL 2010: Something's Brewing in Milwaukee
April 20-23, 2010
Clarion Hotel, Milwaukee, WI

Proposals and recommendations for presentations, panels and workshops are welcome. Target areas for sessions from the 2009 conference evaluations and possible topic ideas include (but are not limited to):

Emerging technologies
Assessment
Design thinking
Library instruction demos
Fundraising skills
Technical Services
Work opportunities outside standard library institutions
Future of libraries visioning session
Vendor demos
Library instruction
Collaborations outside of the library
Staff development topics (e.g. management of meetings)
ACRL topics

To submit a breakout session proposal please forward the following information:
1. Abstract of the program (300 words or less).
2. Presenter name(s), institutional affiliation(s) and contact information.
3. Format (presentation, panel discussion, workshop, etc.).
4. Equipment needs.

Proposals are due by November 16, 2009.
